While the sincerity behind the last one is sound, it’s actually perfectly fine to go to bed angry. In fact depending on how heated the argument preferable.
Sleeping on it can put some time between you and the hurt/anger/misunderstanding and allows your subconscious to process your thoughts in a way that would not occur if one is still being overwhelmed by hormones and emotions.
This gives you a chance to think through your potential conversation and avoid saying something deliberately hurtful because it felt ‘right’ in the moment.
It is far better to go to bed upset but still force yourself to say you love her/she loves you and then make the time to talk it through later when you both have a chance to process. But you DO HAVE to make that time. DO NOT let it stew unresolved and fester into something much bigger.
So if you have to sleep on the sofa until you can talk it out calmly do it. But ALWAYS make it a point to approach the subject again when your two are BOTH calm and collected about it.
Congrats. Marriage is a CHOICE. You are committed to choosing her ever day. Make that choice and you should do just fine.
Also learn to say ‘I’m sorry’ without effort. Even if it isn’t actually your fault, it’s still your fault. :p

See my reply to f86.
Also make-up sex is amazing. Like sex is pretty good, if you haven’t experienced it yet, it’s lots of fun.
But make-up sex is just something else entirely.
But don’t fight just to have make-up sex. That’s not healthy.

Congratulations! A piece of advice given to my Mom and Dad when they got married is to always tell each other “I love you” before bed and mean it. Also never go to bed angry though that applies to everything.

Actually, I have permission for most cars already but I have to get rid of one first.

I think life offers to many opportunities to delay that conversation. I agree you in the need to maintain a calm mind and I agree that you have to have the talk.

My reply was for the OP. Didn’t mean to sound like I was scolding you as you’re not wrong either.
